Summary: We had a room that opened onto the rooftop deck. That was the best thing about it, like having a big outside area with lounge chairs and tables right outside the door. The view from there is fantastic. The owner was extremely helpful, even carrying our bags up the 50 steps to the room and back down when we left. There are other rooms that are not on the top floor which it seems like they would be like being in a cave or a hole in the wall so unless you like that sort of thing, try to reserve a room at the top of the stairs. The room was very small, so small that there was no place to put the bags except to stand them up by the bed. But it was clean and bright. The place is a 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal and there is a dolmus stop about 2 minutes away. The main bus terminal in Fethiye is pretty far to walk, probably a mile or so, if you need to go by bus to another town take a taxi to the bus station. But there is not much to do in that area so you will probably want to be near the port where there are numerous restaurants and shops.
