Summary: Zakros is a little slice of heaven. My wife and I came for our honeymoon and will always treasure our time there.
Waking up every morning to see the Mediterranean was a gift, as was the jacuzzi/bathtub on the balcony where we watched sunset over the sea each day. The staff is wonderful and almost too attentive. We came from the USA and they were able to accommodate us in English. The room itself, while not super luxurious, was perfect for our needs: a solid step above glamping but not a full resort. Not only were the breakfasts delicious, but the view was excellent, too. The pool is, surprisingly, a welcome addition, as well.
Be aware that Zakros is fairly isolated, which in some ways is a blessing but also makes it hard to see the rest of the area. The staff can help arrange for taxies and boats for transportation to other beaches and towns but they add up and require cash.
Overall, we almost want to keep Zakros as our secret so that it won't be too busy when we come back. We loved it there and can't wait until next time!

Summary: The hotel is immersed in an incredible atmosphere.
The sea in front, green and flowers everywhere.
The service is great, the restaurant is just in front of the sea with a perfect view. The buffet in the morning is rich and well prepared.
There are different private areas to enter the sea for a swim. All of them of astonishing blue colour.
The room we reserved, a villa itself, is nicely designed, with the swimming pool in it. Wonderful concept and view on all the area. We were just a bit sorry for the bathroom as it was not perfectly clean as a place like this beautifulness around would require.
Overall an incredible experience, highly recommended for couples who want an exclusive and classy romantic time together.

Summary: This place is a paradise. Most of the staff were very kind and accommodating. We loved dining with the cats! The menu was big enough that we were able to try a new dish every night. We feel our room was misrepresented by the photos when we booked. We would have booked a nicer room, but we hardly spent anytime in it. Every time we drove in and out of the property to tour the area, I was very nervous on the driveway’s incline. I would stay again in a nicer room and book a driving service.

Summary: Great place for a couple of days and to be able to jump into the Med for a swim was an absolute highlight. Have to say that the place was a little shabby and tired overall.

Summary: Nothing was too much hassle for the staff, attention to detail from carrying your bags in to romantic petals laid out in most places. Very idyllic setting, beautiful sunset every night. Great pool and poolside area, good bar and good food in the restaurant. Lots of adorable kitties roaming around, great boat trip with Captain Ishmael, albeit a bit of a bumpy ride! Overall excellent stay and very relaxing, sad to be leaving

Summary: Guest experience at its best! The venue is simply awesome with an outstanding nature, perfectly decorated rooms and environment. The staff is terrific with their always smiling and helpful attitude. You really feel totally refreshed after spending several days here. The best experience for a couple.

Summary: Zakros is an adult only hotel (kids from 12 years if age only), hosting couples and small groups of friends. The clientele is a very pleasant mix, predominantly modern Turkish, with a sprinkling of English, Russian, German and Chinese. It's topography is unsuitable for people with walking handicap and for children. 10 units of variable standard are offered to the guests. Some are rather simple, others are equipped with their own dipping pool. What they all share is functionality, charm and comfort.
Hotel grounds are beautifully sculptured into the rocky Lykian Coast and all units afford privacy in the surroundings of well kept gardens. There is a beautiful, big and deep infinity pool and a large, wooden platform also wirh sunbeds and direct access to the sea for swimming. All staff members provide an excellent service to the guests. Nothing is too much trouble, just ask... Thank you for the Mexican eggs for breakfast and the double Turkish coffee with milk, served in a mug, just like we've asked ;-)
Special mention goes to the Chef: Mr. Hassan, whose culinary excellence singlehandedly elevates a charming resort into the league of an exclusive culinary retreat. His dishes celebrate the simple fresh local ingredients with masterful twists of sophistication - cooked with love for food, but backed by years of experience as sous-chef.
